Family Advocate (Full Time)
Program: Family Focus
Office Location: Jacksonville, IL
Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (typically)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and provide supportive services to families involved with DCFS.
- Advocacy, case management, parenting and life skills education, mediation, and referrals to community resources.
- Prepare appropriate documentation and reporting needed for compliance with program requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in some related field
- Experience in social services, case management, or parent education
Applicant must have valid Driver’s License.
Custodian (Full Time)
Program: N/A
Mon-Fri – 40 Hours/week
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of our buildings
- Help with set-up and tear-down of events
- Keep stock of building and cleaning supplies (i.e. toiletries, trash bags, cleaning chemicals, etc.)
- Assist with purchasing items for building and other program needs as they arise
No specific educational experience required
Applicant must have a valid Driver’s License.
Parent Educator (Full Time)
Program: Family Services
Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with some evening events)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide home-based parenting education using an evidence-based curriculum to parents involved with DCFS
- Facilitate parenting classes and conduct family assessments to determine needs
- Prepare appropriate documentation and reports for grant, and maintain client records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
Applicant must have valid Driver’s License.
Program Assistant (Part Time)
Program: Teen Reach
Mon-Fri 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (School Year), 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Summer)
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees youth in the Quincy Teen Reach.
- Help plan and run activities that fit within the program’s core services.
- Assists with snack/meals daily, as needed
