Organizational Support Staff (Full Time)
Program: Administrative Department
Office Location: Quincy, IL
Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Administrative responsibilities including scheduling, event management, and board/staff/partner organization/funder meetings
- Data collection and oversight for various grants and programs
- Provide support to the fiscal department and human resources, including receipt entry and staff documentation
- Maintain donor and sponsorship relationships
- Assist with website and social media updates
Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, marketing, HR or related field
- Experience with nonprofits and administrative support
Applicant must have valid Driver’s License.
Literacy Coordinator (Full Time)
Program: Youth Services – Literacy Matters
Office Location: Quincy, IL
Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (typically)
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee students and activities in the Literacy Matters program
- Recruits, trains, and supervises literacy tutors and staff
- Maintains participant’s attendance, assessments, and program-related documentation
- Communicates with families regarding student progress and needs
- Family & student support – including issues outside of tutoring needs
Requirements:
- Degree in education, special education, psychology, or social services
- Experience working with youth and/or adults with literacy needs
- Valid driver’s license required
Parent Educator (Full Time)
Program: Family Services
Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with some evening events)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide home-based parenting education using an evidence-based curriculum to parents involved with DCFS
- Facilitate parenting classes and conduct family assessments to determine needs
- Prepare appropriate documentation and reports for grant, and maintain client records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
Applicant must have valid Driver’s License.
Literacy Tutor (Part Time)
Program: Youth Services – Literacy Matters
Office Loacation: Quincy
Mon-Fri 3:00-5:30 PM (school year)
Job Responsibilities:
-
- Provide tutoring to youth that need literacy development assistance.
- Assess and document reading level of students
- Work with small groups of students in various grades (4th-12th) based on skill level of student
- Estimated 20 hours per week, with structured tutoring happening 3-5:30 on Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Flexible hours on Mon and Fri.
