Bella Ease

Family Services

Offered at all locations

Why Family Services?

Bella Ease became a Family Advocacy center in 2018. Our goal was to work with parents to create long-lasting change in the lives of their families. All parents are welcome to participate in our Family Services programs, but we specialize in providing support to families at risk or already involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Services Offered

Regardless of where they’re at in life, our staff helps parents to find the support they need to reunify, stabilize, and sustain their families. Our family services include:

  • Advocacy – A Family Advocate assists clients with working with DCFS as well as other government or private agency cases. We support clients to help them to learn how to properly speak on their own behalf to better their family.
  • Mentoring – Parents, with the assistance of a mentor, will develop healthy and achievable short-term and long-term goals regarding topics like parenting, employment, financial stability, sobriety, mental health, etc.
  • Mediation – Advocates intervene on the client’s behalf to work through conflicts that may arise with service providers.
  • Referrals – We provide information to other community agencies that have services to meet the family’s needs.

Positive Parenting Program

Our staff works one-on-one with parents and children. Staff helps clients build a healthy family by improving parent-child relationships and decreasing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. These services are limited to families with an intact DCFS case, adoptive families, part of the Extended Family Support Program, recently reunified families, or pregnant/parenting youth in care.

Clients receive education on parenting, fun family activities, and how to reach their parenting goals.  All of these are done with the help of a Family Advocate. To set up an appointment, send us a message through the Contact Us page below.
